I became enamored by Robert Creeley poetry and believe I read each poem I could find.
This series is based on those as inspiration, I hope conveying passion, emotion, and sense of loss/sadness. I find his poetry draws upon the heart of human experience.
I used oil on canvas with varnish and enamels as mixing the mediums gave me the translucency I desired/ gazing at impermanence. |
